Precision Housings & Mounting Parts
From robot joint shells to instrument boxes and multi-hole flanges—we mill aluminum and steel housings that bolt up cleanly on the first assembly.
Housing & mounting families
Five part types we see weekly from integrators, robot OEMs, and instrument builders.
Robot Joint Housings
Pocketed shells for harmonic/planetary stages, bearing seats, and cable exits in collaborative and industrial arms.
- ✓ Bearing bores
- ✓ Lightening pockets
- ✓ Cable pass-throughs

Quick DFM tips
- 1
Call out bearing fit grades (e.g. H7) separately from general ±0.1 mm holes.
- 2
Add tooling access notes for deep pockets—we may suggest fillet radii that match standard end mills.
- 3
If anodizing, specify masking for ground/bearing surfaces and tapped holes.
