Shaft Couplings
Machined coupling hubs and rigid/flexible connecters that join shafts with accurate bore alignment and key or clamp fit. Suited to servo, stepper, and industrial drive lines where runout and concentricity matter.
Overview
Rigid and clamp-style coupling hubs
Single or dual bore with key or set screw
Bore concentricity for low runout drives
Aluminum for inertia-sensitive servos; steel for torque
Custom OD, length, and flange patterns

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you make complete flexible couplings or only hubs?
We machine rigid hubs, clamp hubs, and custom connectors. For elastomeric or bellows flex elements we can machine the metal halves to match your chosen insert.
Can bores be different on each side?
Yes. Step bores and dual diameters are common when joining a motor shaft to a different load shaft.
Aluminum or steel for servo couplings?
Aluminum cuts inertia for high-accel servos; steel handles higher torque and abuse. We help choose from your peak torque and RPM.
How do you control runout?
Boring and finishing OD in one setup, plus concentricity checks. Critical hubs can be ground or finish-bored after heat treat if needed.
Lead time for custom hubs?
Simple hubs often 1–2 weeks; anodized or keyed production lots 2–4 weeks depending on quantity.
